Are you living as a victim?
I normally do not watch TV, but the other day I turned it on and there was a guy on one of those local talk shows. His name is Bill and he was telling his story about how he was wrongly diagnosed as being HIV positive, and lived that way for over six years!
He went into great detail about the anguish, fear and pain he had been subjected to. For over six years he has lived in fear of dying from AIDS. Now the skeptic in me wants to know why he is on TV telling his story. Is he doing it to help others, or is there another reason – such as the more publicity he gets, the larger the settlement offer he is likely to receive from the doctor’s malpractice insurance company? I’ll let you decide.
Now to be fair, let’s face facts. The fact is, the doctors did make a mistake and misdiagnosed him. The doctors mistakenly told him he had a medical condition, which at the time seemed like a death sentence. The doctors really messed up. Continue reading Living Success or Living as a Victim?

We tend to think that Spirit is out there some where, out in the vastness, out in space. Yet what about that still small voice, or a time when someone’s father who passes away comes to them in the middle of the night? Is the all knowing consciousness out there? Or inside? Or both?
Take for instance a mother thousands of miles from her son who is living in Indonesia, and her son a car accident and is killed. In the middle of the night she screams and wakes up exactly at the same time as he passes away. Coincidence or the fact that there is nothing but spirit all around us. And that we are all connected in amazing ways… and mothers are especially attuned to that energy.
Or what about a man that from the time he was born was always listen to a nagging feeling about something terrible about to happen, thus his thoughts were always negative. And this man always had lots of bad luck. He was in the service and was wounded and almost died. Then he had a business that was always teetering on the the edge of bankruptcy. And because of that his marriage ended in divorce, and his wife kept taking him back to court for more money even though he is broke. It seemed that his life followed his negative thinking. Or was his thinking following his life? Or could it be that the still small voice that he was always listened too was not his higher self? Continue reading Spirit is All Around Us

What does it look like to feel limitless and creative? How does it work? Becoming limitless can seem very nebulous. Through this article we will discuss how it works, how it feels and how it can be achieved.
Most people following a spiritual path have come to believe that their thoughts create their reality. This is only part of the equation, and a person must move beyond this to create limitlessness. As a person starts to question what they have believed, the process of limitlessness begins. Unfortunately, nothing you have been taught is necessarily true.
When you move into a state of unknowing and questioning everything, you activate the larger part of yourself, the soul self or true brilliance of you. As this part of you activates, you are no longer in the mind of thought creation. The realization arises that a part of you, but not separate from you, is all knowing. This part of you is not in the mind, but is rather your “I AM PRESENCE,“ the true creative genius. Continue reading Moving Into Creativity – Becoming Limitless

Awakening is a shift in consciousness in which thinking and awareness separate. For most people it is not an event but a process they undergo. Even those rare beings who experience a sudden, dramatic, and seemingly irreversible awakening will still go through a process in which the new state of consciousness gradually flows into and transforms everything they do and so becomes integrated into their lives.
Instead of being lost in your thinking, when you are awake you recognize yourself as the awareness behind it. Thinking then ceases to be a self-serving autonomous activity that takes possession of you and runs your life. Awareness takes over from thinking. Instead of being in charge of your life, thinking becomes the servant of awareness. Awareness is conscious connection with universal intelligence. Another word for it is Presence; consciousness without thought. Continue reading What is Awakening?

Far north, somewhere near the icy regions of the North Pole, legend speaks of an ancient and mostly forgotten civilization. Mythical in character, the Hyperborean civilization is said to have flourished in the northern most region of planet Earth at a time when the area was suitable for human habitation.
According to certain esoteric systems and spiritual traditions, Hyperborea was the terrestrial and celestial beginning of civilisation. The home of original Man. Some theories postulate Hyperborea was the original Garden of Eden, the point where the earthly and heavenly planes meet. And it is said Man transgressed Divine Law in this Golden Age civilisation, the ultimate price being his banishment to the outside world. Man ventured into other regions of Earth, establishing new civilisations, bringing to an end this great and glorious Golden Age.
The Golden Age is central to manifold ancient traditions and myths. Significantly, the Golden Age appears most frequent in the traditions of cultures stretching from India to Northern Europe — the area directly beneath the Polar regions. Joscelyn Godwin, in Arktos, The Polar Myth in Science, Symbolism and Nazi Survival, says:
The memory or imagination of a Golden Age seems to be a particularity of the cultures that cover the area from India to Northern Europe… But in the ancient Middle East there is an obvious relic of the Golden Age in Genesis, as the Garden of Eden where humanity walked with the gods before the Fall. The Egyptians spoke of past epochs ruled by god-kings. Babylonian mythology… had a scheme of three ages, each lasting while the vernal [Spring] equinox precessed through four signs of the zodiac; the first of these, under the dominion of Anu, as a Golden Age, ended by the Flood. The Iranian Avesta texts tell of the thousand-year Golden Reign of Yima, the first man and the first king, under whose rule cold and heat, old age, death and sickness were unknown. A mystical truth, proclaimed by the sages of the ages and those that have seriously trailed the paths of self-knowledge, is that the real journey through the experience of life is an internal journey. It is never a waste to repeat this truth, and to see how many good people continue to insist on engaging in noisy “spiritual” organizations in the pursuit of the next guru, spiritual leader or easy way to enlightenment. This does not represent a spiritual journey, because what is essential is inside of oneself, not outside.
It is understandable that some may feel a valid need to procure spiritual and transcendent collective activities in groups because they are tired of working alone, or perhaps because they do not know how to work on their own emotional body without physical interaction with another human. Generally speaking, spiritually-oriented organizations are an adequate environment for the seeker, but they are still classified as a human environment. This means they can accelerate or delay our spiritual evolution, especially in some cases when we cannot use the interaction with others as a resource for our mystical growth. The fact is that these settings we are still working with a heterogenic mix of personalities, such as what happens in any socio-educational gathering of any other type. These are the three stages of enlightenment, the three glimpses of satori.
1. The first stage enlightenment:
A Glimpse of the Whole
The first stage of enlightenment is short glimpse from faraway of the whole. It is a short glimpse of being.
The first stage of enlightenment is when, for the first time, for a single moment the mind is not functioning. The ordinary ego is still present at the first stage of enlightenment, but you experience for a short while that there is something beyond the ego.
There is a gap, a silence and emptiness, where there is not thought between you and existence.
You and existence meet and merge for a moment.
And for the first time the seed, the thirst and longing, for enlightenment, the meeting between you and existence, will grow in your heart. Continue reading The Three Stages of Enlightenment
